Carpark
Carpark Safety
We remind all parents, players and spectators to take care when driving and parking in the vicinity of all Parks used by the Club. Please remember that young children will often leap before they look when playing around and we need to be extra careful when around parks and car parks. There has been recent reports of vehicles being parked whilst the driver being on their mobile phone or otherwise distracted.
Please stay alert
RTA statistics show that more than 25% of pedestrian fatalities occur in darkness between 5pm and 9pm. Fatalities increase from April to July, when the days are shorter and mostly occur on weekdays.
Pedestrian road safety and especially child road safety is the responsibility of the whole community, including drivers, parents, carers and educators.
